I can speak Japanese and Cantonese.
I have 2 years of in-person teaching experience and an additional half year of online instruction. Currently, I volunteer to teach Japanese to foreigners in Japan, consult on childcare in Japan, and operate an afterschool creative class for elementary students.
I place special emphasis on children's language development, aiming to cultivate their interest in learning Japanese from a young age.
Parents who wish to practice for interviews are also welcome to enroll. Based on your needs, I can customize the course content!
I especially welcome the following individuals to my courses:
💚Those who wish to learn Japanese as a hobby, not just for exams.
💚Students considering studying in Japan and need to quickly obtain a Japanese proficiency certificate.
💚Those planning to migrate or settle in Japan for the long term and wish to learn practical daily Japanese.
💚Professionals who deal with Japanese colleagues or require Japanese skills in their work.
💚Anyone looking to converse in Japanese, discussing life, cultural differences, current events, love, hobbies, and other topics.
For us who speak Chinese, learning Japanese seems easy because of kanji. However, its sentence structure is more challenging than English, so practicing spoken language is essential. I'm here to support and guide you through the difficult learning process.
✅I design materials based on students' goals and interests to promote interactivity and relevance.
✅I prioritize a balanced development of listening, speaking, and reading abilities.
✅I incorporate textbooks, Japanese dramas, anime, J-pop, news, etc., to make learning more engaging.

Many in Hong Kong enjoy Japanese anime and often get exposed to the language. Still, many find themselves understanding but not being able to communicate fluently.
If this resonates with you, consider booking a trial lesson with me.
【My Background】
I've been passionate about Japanese anime and music since elementary school. I later pursued a Master's in Composition at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Although I've worked in the IT sector, it has improved my business Japanese. Now, as a single mother, my interest has grown in Japanese early childhood education.
Language is not just a tool but can expand one's horizons and change lives.
Outside of teaching, "Momo" is keen on continuous learning, exploring areas like psychology. With interests ranging from anime, gaming, fortune-telling to knitting, she hopes to have lively conversations while teaching Japanese.
