Near the middle of summer break I started taking Paula's courses to study for a placement test in my Spanish class. During this time Paula was a great teacher with an even greater personality. Today I took the placement test and passed! I wouldn't have been able to do this without her support, and I am grateful for all the ways Paula has helped me.

We studied stereotypes about Latinos that are prevalent in Germany. Interesting. Lesson included a video in which I could hear various Latino pronunciations explaining the stereotypes they observed Germans have about them. Great class!

Oriol is a very patient and friendly teacher. During the trial lesson, he carefully conducted a speaking test to assess my Spanish level. When I encountered something I didn’t understand, he patiently explained it until I fully understood. He also used some Chinese to assist in the teaching, which made it easier for me. Before the lesson ended, he allowed me to ask questions about Spain since I’m planning to travel there. Oriol is not only professional but also very attentive to the needs of his students.
